About Lifted Payments
Lifted Payments is the payments ISO and software agency of Lifted Holdings. We board merchant accounts on transparent interchange-plus pricing — and we build the software those merchants actually run, from the terminal app on the counter to the portal behind it. One team owns the rate, the rails, and the code.
Most processing relationships split across three or four companies: a sales office sells the account, a gateway company runs the software, a processor moves the money, and nobody in particular answers the phone. Lifted Payments exists to collapse that. We're a small, independent sales organization (ISO) that also writes its own software — so the people who quote your rate are the same people who build and support what you run it on.
What we do
| Offering | What it is |
|---|---|
| Merchant boarding | Merchant accounts on interchange-plus pricing, quoted after we read one recent statement. No application fee. |
| Level 2/3 gateway | Automatic Level 2/3 data on commercial, corporate, purchasing, and government cards. |
| PAX terminal app | Lifted Pay, our own payment app for PAX A920-series terminals — keypad sale, tips, refunds, batch, receipts. |
| Merchant portal | pay.liftedpayments.com: virtual terminal, transactions, customers and cards on file, reports. |
| Custom payments software | As a software agency, we build payments integrations and tools to order on the same rails our own products use. |
How we're set up
We're deliberate about our rails, and we say plainly what they are:
- Card processing runs on the Maverick gateway. That's the rail under card-present, virtual terminal, and cards on file, with E2EE tokenization via Voltage.
- ACH and eCheck run on the NMI gateway. Two rails, one relationship — each payment routed to the one that fits.
- We're a PAX ISV building on PayDroid, the Android-based OS on PAX smart terminals. Lifted Pay is PAX-signed and PayDroid-certified.
- Pricing is interchange-plus, always. We quote after reviewing one statement, with no application fee, and software runs $15/mo per device.
We'd rather under-claim than over-claim: features we're still building stay off this site until they're live, and roadmap items are labeled as roadmap. If you want the educational version of how these pieces fit together, our merchant guides — like how to choose a payment gateway and interchange-plus vs flat-rate pricing — are written vendor-neutral first, and our 2026 processing statistics keep every figure dated and sourced.
Who runs it
Will Kemp (Daniel Wilson Kemp) is the founder of Lifted Holdings and runs Lifted Payments from Tennessee. He's a working software engineer as well as the person who boards the accounts — the terminal app, the gateway integrations, and the merchant portal are built in-house under his direction. Lifted Holdings, the parent company, also builds point-of-sale and self-service retail software, which is where the payments engineering discipline comes from.

The fastest way to start is the one we recommend to everyone: send one recent processing statement through the rate review form and get an honest interchange-plus quote back — no application fee, no obligation.
One statement. One honest rate review.
Send a recent statement and we'll show you exactly where your money goes — interchange, fees, and markup — then quote interchange-plus. No application fee. Or start with the guides and come back when you're ready.
